About Us
1. WHAT IS ZPC?
Short Description:
Zanaty Performance Company is a community-centered performing arts organization offering dance, musical theatre, vocal training, acting, and year-round productions for students of all ages. We focus on professional instruction, accessible pricing, and a supportive environment where every performer can grow, take risks, and thrive.
2. MISSION STATEMENT
Zanaty Performance Company exists to develop well-rounded, industry ready performers through exceptional training in theatre, dance, acting, vocal, and music arts. We champion excellence, creativity, and character in every aspect of our work, creating transformative learning and performance experiences that inspire confidence, foster community, and prepare artists for real-world success.
3. VISION STATEMENT
To establish Zanaty Performance Company as a leading force in performing arts education, one that sets the standard for multi-disciplinary training, nurtures artists of all backgrounds, and elevates the cultural landscape of our community. We envision a creative home where students develop not only the technical skills of theatre, dance, acting, vocal, and music arts, but the character, confidence, and discipline required to thrive in real-world artistic environments. Our long-term vision is to create a sustainable, innovative institution that offers exceptional programs, impactful outreach, professional performance opportunities, and a legacy of excellence that shapes generations of performers, educators, and creative leaders.
4. OUR BELIEFS
• We believe our Christian foundations call us to lead with love, integrity, humility, and service in everything we do.
• We believe every student, regardless of background, identity, ability, or experience, deserves a welcoming, safe, and uplifting place to grow.
• We believe the performing arts should be accessible to all, and we are committed to removing barriers so every young artist has a fair and equitable chance to
participate.
• We believe the arts are one of the most powerful tools for youth development, helping students build confidence, discipline, creativity, empathy, and resilience.
• We believe excellence is achieved through practice, encouragement, and purposeful instruction, and we strive to model these values in every rehearsal, class,
and production.
• We believe community strengthens creativity, and that learning alongside others fosters collaboration, kindness, and meaningful growth.
• We believe that every student carries unique potential, and it is our responsibility to nurture that potential with care, respect, and high expectations.
Our Story
2025 — The Beginning
We started inside a local elementary school, hosting a small free theatre program that quickly took off as students and families spread the word. What began as a simple idea to give kids a place to perform soon grew into something much bigger.
Summer 2025 — First Summer Camp
We launched our first official summer camp with 18+ students, marking our first multi-week program and proving the strong demand for accessible performing arts in our community.
Fall 2025 — Growing Into Our First Space
In the fall, we moved into a temporary space in the Riverchase Galleria and introduced our first after-school program.
In 2025 we served 65+ students, taught 280+ instructional hours, produced three full shows, and awarded $1,100+ in scholarships.
2026 — Becoming Zanaty Performance Company
As our programs expand into dance, acting, music lessons, and year-round offerings, we’re rebranding as Zanaty Performance Company to reflect a clearer identity and long-term vision.
2026 — Expansion & Planning for the Future
We will continue adding new disciplines, welcoming new instructors, and laying the groundwork for a dedicated facility to support our growing community.
Looking Ahead
Our mission remains the same: to offer high-quality, accessible performing arts training and create a place where every student can learn, grow, and shine.
Our Team

Seasonal Staff
Throughout the year, we bring on seasonal staff to support our programs, especially during summer camps, workshops, and weekend events. These team members help us keep classes running smoothly and ensure students always have the guidance and attention they need during our busiest seasons.
Special Guests
We also welcome special guest artists and instructors who join us for masterclasses, workshops, and show-specific coaching. These guests bring fresh perspectives, new skills, and unique experiences that enrich our students’ training and broaden what they’re exposed to in the arts.
