Zanaty Performance Company (ZPC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts organization based in Hoover, Alabama.
We exist to create meaningful opportunities for students of all ages to learn, perform, and connect through theatre, music, and dance.
Founded by Chaz Zanaty, ZPC grew out of a simple belief — that the arts have the power to shape character, inspire collaboration, and bring people together.
Whether on stage or behind the scenes, our students develop not just as performers, but as confident young leaders ready to take on the world.

Our Story
Zanaty Performance Company (ZPC) was founded in 2025 out of a local elementary school in Hoover, Alabama — with one simple goal: to bring youth back into the arts.
What began as a handful of students performing in borrowed spaces quickly evolved into a vibrant creative community. With every rehearsal, every class, and every curtain call, ZPC grew into something bigger than a program — a movement to make performing arts accessible, modern, and meaningful for every child.
From the start, our vision has been clear: to provide professional-level performing arts training in a nurturing, inclusive environment, where students can discover their confidence, creativity, and purpose.
We believe the arts should be a space where every student — regardless of background or experience — can find their voice, build lifelong friendships, and take pride in their growth both on and off stage.
Today, ZPC produces full-scale musical theatre productions, training programs, and private instruction in voice, acting, and dance. We’re proud to see our students thriving — not just as performers, but as collaborators, leaders, and storytellers who carry the lessons of the stage into every part of their lives.
And though we’ve grown beyond that elementary school classroom, the heart of our mission remains the same:

Meet The Founder
Chaz Zanaty is a Birmingham-based performer, director, and creative entrepreneur with a passion for helping young artists discover their voice — both on and off the stage.
After years of working in production, event design, and the performing arts world, Chaz saw a growing need in his own community: a place where kids could experience professional-level theatre training without losing the joy, freedom, and heart that make the arts magical in the first place.
That vision led him to found Zanaty Performance Company (ZPC) in 2025, starting humbly out of a local elementary school classroom in Hoover, Alabama. What began as a small group of students learning lines and choreography has since blossomed into a full-scale performing arts organization that produces musicals, offers training programs, and brings families together through creativity and collaboration.
Chaz’s background in live production, stage design, and music direction continues to shape ZPC’s hands-on, high-energy approach to teaching. His mission is simple: to create a space where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to perform with confidence.
